As most of you may or may not know we had to hoist our project this last winter. Well we finally got her down to continue working on her. At this point we pretty much just have to finish fairing her and glass the hull. We have very little crack filling to do. I am seriously debating whether I'm using a wood flour thickened epoxy or if I am going to us a water putty/wood flour type mix. Seen here; www.oneoceankayaks.com/Wshophtm/Shop9.htmWe have already ripped the ash and cherry for the gunnels and the cherry slat seat is already made. We're going to try something really different with the portage yoke, if that works out like I think it will we'll post pics. Yeah - back to shaving cedar!
