Satch! I love the Night Heron by Nick Shade!
If I hadn't gotten bit by the canoe bug I would probably be building a Night Heron by now. You did a great job with it!

More progress photos from satch..... Man it is looking great, you are doing an awesome job.
I guess this Satchmoa, doing a Fred Flinstone in a Kayak imitation....LOL
I bet that will make portaging easier..... LOL
Might have problems floating though !

Troy, on some of the photos showing the "i-beam" (if that's what it is called) running down the center, is that gonna stay there as it is?

I believe that the "I-beam" that you are refering to in the photos is the strongback that is holding his forms in place. None of the forms or strongback will remain inside the hull when it is completed.
